Located in downtown Chattanooga is the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center. The Heritage Center serves as an engaging storyteller that shares real-life experiences of Medal of Honor recipients on their infamous day when they demonstrated extraordinary heroism under the most difficult circumstances. Visit the Battles for Chattanooga Museum and Point Park to further learn about the battles in and around Chattanooga that took place during the Civil War and where many Medals of Honor were awarded.
